At the request of the governing committee of Chewifoot International and given the requirement of the Charter regulating the conditions and requirements for the integration of the child in this soccer school, a week of general physical screening took place for those children (all Males) wanting to attend the school. Dr. Jean Dieuseul Colas, M.D (Internal physisican, and specialist in Community health), along with nurse Misslie Ménélas, RN, conducted our first medical consultation sessions. They were held from Monday, December 16th to Friday, December 20, 2013 from 8: 00 AM to 3:00 PM at the local health center Marie - Madeleine located in Croix Marchaterre in Les Cayes. We had projected that 160 children would show up for consultation, 127 children between the age of 7 to 15 years old were present and were administered a complete physical. To remind you that Chewifoot International wishes to uphold the physical health and mental balance of its students to the highest standards and in compliance with the international rules of soccer. This is, therefore, the the reason why, Chewifoot International will hold physical check-ups on a regular basis to ensure that our students are continuously in top shape and to improve their conditions of living.
